Can I see some ID please?

OK, so I'm a whole quarter of a century old, yet I still get asked for ID just about every time i try to buy alcohol/get in to a club. Some say it's a compliment - I say its a pain in the arse that I have to carry my passport around with me on every night out instead of leaving it safely tucked away in my top drawer like any normal person. I'm the oldest person I know that still gets this on a regular basis.
So if this is becuase doormen like to get off on a power trip then I guess I shouldn't be the only one. Ofcourse, I could just be blessed with a cutesy baby face if it's just me.
So do any of you guys suffer from the same problem? :conf: |

to asnwer ur question tho, i get it at clubs all the time,. never been carded buying booze or cigs. One time tho i was hitting on this girl, and she was looking interested but something was holding her back. Found out later she thought i was younger than her:wtf: |

Just about every off-licence/club these days only accepts a passport or driver's license becuase of the amount of fake ID in circulation. I've got a student card (that actually says on it that I'm a postgrad so I can't possibly be under 18!) but it's rarely accepted as proof of age. |

Well,I take my passport out with me aswell,smells of beer and spirits 'cause its been out with me that many times,and I have no drivers liscence(haven't sent off for provisional yet as not had the money to consider driving). |

| My friend has that same problem. Hes 24 but he looks not a day older than 16 :D I on the other hand dont have that problem its quite the opposite for me...people constantly add at least 4 years to my age. |

i'm clubbing/drinking since i were 13 :p
its illegal here for the under-age to go to clubs without a adult escort...but no-one cares, they never ask for an id.
plus ppl think i'm 25+ :sadgreen: |
