June 30th Docks - User Meet ??

Hello everyone,
Although i've been visiting tranceaddict.com on a regular basis. This is my first post on the forum. I know alot of people dont like "newbies" but after reading several posts, i noticed alot of people seemed cool with it, so here i am.
Me and a friend are gonna be heading down to the docks on the 30th for the tiesto show.. yaaa i know alot of u guys seem to either not have enjoyed his previous shows or would rather see the guvernment's glob. gathering line up, but i've never seen Tiesto so i'm sort of looking forward to it.
Being from Northern Ontario, trance music isnt that popular up here, it's hard for me to find people to go with and it sorta sucks, driving down and not knowing anyone. I was wondering if anyone going to the show would wanna meet up prior to the event ?

Glad to see ur making the trip down for Tiesto....I have seen him three times now and never been disappointed...this event will be crazy as the others NO DOUBT :D...ps. a lot of ppl on TA and around the world don't like Tiesto but WE do so who cares...don't get caught up in the 'trash talking' threads...u'll see as we get closer to the DATE!!!!woohoo there will be tons of posts on meet ups and all that fun stuff so keep ur eyes out for those threads....other than that :eek:

Welcome, dude!!! Really hope you can make the trip down for the genius that is Tiesto...
Just a small bit of advice (as you are new...so am I, relatively) that there is a roll call that occurs 1 week prior to the event in which all the TAs attending post the confirmation of their attendance. In this thread you will see people from all over Ontario coming out and hopefully you will be able to confirm the ride you are looking for.
Unfortunately that may not leave a lot of time to buy the ticket (as you may have wanted to confirm the ride prior to buying the ticket) but that's just my little bit of advice...for future events! :D

follow her advice, and ignore rubbish posts. youll see too many ppl at tiesto most likely most likely some roll call thread. |

Tiesto ROCKED @ the Docks last Dec.
Absolutely amazing time I had for his xtended set!
Totallly worht going too... he has my respect anyways.

hey cf2thousand, im not saying you shouldnt come, but did you ever consider going to Montreal for parties? Im not sure where in Northern Ontario you live, but would it be closer?
anyways, welcome!
Im almost sure there will be a pre-meet for Tiesto, usually is for most big shows, and you dont really get any bigger than Tiesto.
Out of curiousity, how did you get into trance? DId somebody up there introduce you, or did you just find it on the net? Im always interested in HOW people get into EDM. |
