quivver vs mirco de govia - these are the days / voller sterne
Inertia
well, in a way, but it's either

Rob Mello / Underworld - Fantasize / 2 Months Off

that one is just perfect. or... if you're looking for the other type of mashup, which is track A -> track B -> track A, it would have to be:

Luke Chable & Jono Fernandez vs. Prodigy - Beat My Poison

both played by Zabiela, and although he's responsible for the first, i believe Jono conceived the second.

in any case, the ultimate mashup has to be, the brilliant work of none other than Richie Hawtin, and his entire... reconstruction, for lack of a better word, called "DE9: Closer to the Edit", where each track is broken down to the very slightest and most trivial sample, and then, all these sounds are taken and 'mashed up' into a 50 something minute mix, i believe. that's what i call a successful mashup.

First time I heard it I couldn't stop smiling. It's definitely up there on my list.

BT vs. Sasha - Remember Magnetic North. I even like the reconstruction that a TA did a while ago, the "Broken Toy Reconstruction."
Blue.
Kelis vs Coldplay - Nasty Clocks (Gabriel and Dresden)
