cool, thanks for the info paul. :)

Above & Beyond have definetely made a lot of great productions this year, with Ocean Lab - "Clear Blue Water" being the best IMO. ;)

I'm going to critique A&B a little... I really enjoy their uplifting sound, but you can always tell when they remixed something. All of their remix productions have the same effects and mood, really. I'm thinking of, specifically, 'sound of goodbye', chakra - home, and 'what it feels like for a girl'.

That said, their mix of "The sound of goodbye" is spectacular!!!

A&B are outstanding, its no wonder Ferry, and the like, remix and pickup there productions in there sets. Uplifting producers that they are :)
Kytracid
have to agree that A&B are one of the last few truly uplifting trance remixers around and their own work like "Volume 1" is pretty good too. Although most of their remixes now sound the same they always get the uplifting trance feeling in their songs that reminds me of 1998....

Yeah i love this mix as well, probably even better than the airscape mix i reckon...

hmm.. i dont want to rub anyones feathers the wrong way, so i'll start out by saying that i think that above and beyond are awesome producers, and everything they touch turns to gold..

HOWEVER,

i think that too many of thier songs sound too closely related.. no, i'm not talking about the melodies but instead, the synths and overall mood.. i love thier laid back style of trance, but i think they should be a little more diverse in thier productions, and maybe buy another synth, or two.. or five :toothless :toothless

well, i hope you all understand what i mean, and as the rest of you, i too am waiting for thier future releases, i'm just looking for a litte change..

Cable
I have to agree with both statements, above & beyond mixes are wonderful but, they all have a very similar sound, more than usual with other producers.

Been looking through some old CD's and found
Free State - Different Ways
Anjuna Beats - Volume 1 (Above and Beyond mix)
Anjuna Beats - Volume 1 (Free State mix)
Anjuna Beats - Volume 1 (Free State Vs Dirt Devils mix)
Dirt Devils are also Jono Grant and Tony Mcgregor (Aka Above + Beyond), and seem to be consistent producers of quality hardhouse as well (With there mix of free state - release, Free state - different ways, The Croydon Dub Heads - your lying, and their own release of Dirt Devils - The drill)
so we've got soem ultimately talented guys here lol :D
any chance of a full discography from these guys??
