June 2005 - A New Chapter In My Life Begins Need To Secure Employment

With everyone being of diverse employment backgrounds and social status I am calling on the help of my TOTA family in my time of need.
My stint with an independant label is up (cutbacks/restructuring) - 4 years in Toronto with a job that was supposed to (I guess hoped to) guarantee me a sound career in the music business......alas with the acquistions/mergers of various major labels - I not unlike various friends at BMG/SONY/EMI/UNIVERSAL have found ourselves a victim of the corporate bottom line.....
for the first time in 13 years I am without a job!!!
With a background heavy in management/music retail sales/customer service/marketing and extensive volunteer/special interest work I hope not to be unemployed for any great length of time.....but any leads would be most appreciated.
Available immediately to start - Greater Toronto area preferred (no car/don't drive).
Living in the Downtown core Queen/Bathurst.........
Again any leads would be most welcome/appreciated.........

awww hun that SUCKS that you don't have a job! I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have been out of a job for while, and living in Barry's Bay doesn't help much either, because we have limited jobs:whip:
but you seem like a guy who knows some stuff, so just pass your name around and I'm sure you'll get a great job soon!;)

You could try temping for a while, too, with Options Personnel (Ask for Antoinette King-Cordosa and tell her that Caroline Tungate sent you - that's my old last name) or Drake International or People Bank or Kelly Services.
They're always looking for qualified PR/Marketing people to place in good jobs, too! |
