I thought I was gonna piss myself when you were mixing some psy tune with Tiga - Hot In Herre (which Jamie had been putting on the barbeque earlier in the day), and then you just let the Tiga-record start on the next track (the accapella), and then after 45 secs turned to me and went "I think I'll go kill myself now." :stongue:
Despite the rather messy start to things, once the party got going it all whizzed by faster than I wanted it to. Surrounded by new people and old friends, all happy and sound and with the same love for the music I have, I couldn't have had a better time. And it's good to finally have personalities to attach to the screen names after almost 3 years. Playing Massive Attack - Teardrop at 7:30 in the morning and watching the now completely quiet house was a moment that sticks, even if noone else than me were around to listen.
Big thanks to Jamie for the ride and Ian/Paul for hosting the shindig, looking forward to next year already. |
