Mother hired Stripper for Son's Birthday party

Anette Pharris, 34, faces criminal charges [contributing to the delinquency of a minor and involving a minor in obscene acts] after hiring a stripper to dance at her 16-year-old son's birthday party. The boy's father, the stripper and 2 others also face charges.
About 10 people under the age of 18 were at the birthday party, including minors not related to the family.
"I tried to do something special for my son," Pharris said. "It didn't harm him."
A police spokesman said minors are not permitted in adult establishments: "A person shouldn't be allowed to circumvent that law by hiring a stripper, a lady who took all her clothes off and spent a good amount of time dancing around minors."
Pharris took photos at the party and tried getting them developed at a drug store who later notified authorities.
"Who are they to tell me what I can and can't show to my own children?" the mother said.

although i wouldnt do this myself i do agree with that statement. Whats next? Busting parents who keep pornos in the house? |

Pft! Whutever. Bull... I dont see a prob. with this. As Jayx1 said, ALOT of n interference is going on in our lives lately. If you dont feel this is inappropiate for your kid there shoudlnt be a problem since you're doing it at home -- not like ur taking the kid out the the local rippers bar where you need to be over 19 to get in (in theory ;))
Ah, im with cale, when i was 16, this would have been the BEST bday EVEr for me.
