Best event in SD in a long time! I loved it. Anyone know the track that Armin played 2 songs before Sander van Doorn's Bling Bling? It was the really bangin' techno one. That blew me away. Great crowd last night, especially for SD being a house loving town. Looking forward to the next Spundae.

Well people the summer has officially started and it has started amazingly. ARMIN & MARKUS were amazing. I cant really report better than anyone else has really stated already. But this was seriously the best party i have been to in San Diego...

GOOD TIMES!

Another thanks to Michelle for setting up the meet up. Yeah, it was pretty scary when the unoffical TA accountant was totalling up the money and we were close to $300 short on the bill. :nervous: It was cool meeting some new people and seeing some familar faces at the club.

Well, as everyone has said already it was a pretty great night. I saw Armin and Markus when they each played earlier this year at Circus and their SD sets were better IMO.

I would have to say that this has been my best Armin Experience since I started following him in 2001. No doubt that he has raised his live performances to a complete new level and standard. This guy has total mind control over his audience. Watching him tear it up in vegas and then in SD back2back was insane. In vegas he played for 4 hours from 2am-6am solid. Although I was content at that point I definately could have had more! His blended style of progressive to hard banging tribal trance is like no other. This is the 4th time I've seen him within 2 months!!! Armin has always been my #1 DJ and still holds that title for me!

Mr. Markus!! YOU ARE DA MAN!!! Although I think his Spundae set was much better he did not let anyone down this weekend. From his production to his dj sets, his music just moves everyone! When he dropped in Satellite, I was at the back top of 4&B and I cannot compare what it was like to see THE ENTIRE EN CROWD throwing their hands in the air and hearing the entire building singing the lyrics. "Your half a world away....."

This was my first time at 4&B and I was very impressed with the event overall. No crazy drama to get in and a very comfortable atmosphere. The outside was nice and big and they were playing some good house music out there. The only complaint that I have was the place smelled like ass, as if people threw up all over the place and no one cleaned it up. I guess one other complaint which got fixed was the sound. When I first got in there, I was at the stage area and the sound was WAY TOO LOUD!! I always ear plugs and I still couldn't take it! I couldn't imagine what it was like for people with no ear plugs. I went over to the PA guy to request that he turn down the bass and that he is killing everyone up front and it's unbearable. ****** just laughed at me and was like whatever. So I got a hot chick to ask him to turn it down and the next thing he did was turn the knob down. Stupid guy!

Definately no regrets this weekend but only good memories. I put about 1,000 miles on my car and got about 8 hours of sleep over 3 days but I DONT CARE!!!!

GO ARMIN! GO ARMIN! GO GO GO GO ARMIN!!!

ive heard a lot about boris MD and based on the tracks he played, looks like he set the mood perfectly for Markus and Armin.

One of the best shows I have ever been to was last year at Henry Fonda Theater, and that was with Markus and Armin. I am so sad I missed out on this San Diego show. I am kicking myself in the ass for this actually. But what can ya do. I hope they both come back to LA.

I am stoked to hear about how successful the TA meet up was. Good job sweetcandygirl.

I love reading everyone's reviews of the event because I am able to picture what you all experienced that night..so keep em comin!

He was singing live. The only part that was not live was the vocoder effects.

i'll chime in, even though many have already stated what went on.

Complete insanity...that night was so kickass, from the Dj's showing up at RA, to smoking a nice cigar while waiting in line, to getting in and listening to some nice beats while people were arriving. I had to take some breathers i was dancing so much. Markus and Armin just tore it up though, there wasn't one time i was thinking to myself 'this track is bleh'. I was more dissapointed that i didn't have the energy to dance the entire 6 hours, oh well. Well worth the trip from LA.

i think i heard the track as a dub as well, but boris said markus played the track w/ the chorus. which makes sense because i could hear zubin sing over the chorus(which had a delay). either way, he was spot on and his voice is perfect for that track

We got there around midnight and there was no line whatsoever. Spundae SD has done an amazing job bringing 4th and B back to life. This was the best event I've seen at 4th and B since the glory days when Club Rubber was there. The production value was amazing... awesome lighting, decor, props, videos, and best of all the sound. The one thing they could definitely improve on were the go-gos. The asian chick had nice abs..that's about it. She couldn't dance worth shiet, and the other gogos weren't any better. Hire better/hotter dancers next time please.

But of course we all came here for the DJs, and they delivered BIG!! Markus laid down some sick tunes, his set was more "headliner" material. The crowd was very high-energy, everybody was dancing and smiling and just having a great time. Except for the sweaty horny dudes (my girlfriends comment), the crowd was so amazing and the room had such a great vibe. Then Armin came on and tore it up the whole night. The best performance (and most fun) I've heard all year!!

I will say this...Armin=the new Tiesto. You can see how much he loves his job and appreciates the crowd. His track selection and mixing is unbelievable.
