tbh i thought the nite was average in terms of music. pvd's set was not very impressive, especially the first half. and what a unique, attention grabbing intro song! he's only started off with fancy fair about a million times....oiiii....dun get me wrong, its a great song, but time to move on methinks...the second half was much better, especially when he went techy. i think sheridan's set was the best out of everyone. very driving and consistent.

I had a wicked night. Perfect way to warm up for PvD's 7 dates at Amnesia this summer! Loving 'Swing To Harmony' and hearing his rework of 'Out Of Our Lives' reminded me of Crasher N/Ice last November. Both top draw tunes. I'm sure Fancy Fair wasn't his first tune though. And was it just me or did I hear For An Angel being mixed in as his last tune and then Eddie Halliwell just cut it off?.........or was I more wrecked than I thought?

Roll on Cream opening!

sounds like you were in wrecked  Fancy Fair was 100% sure his first tune, i can remember that "Messages" was just stopped rather than being played to the end, can't remember what Eddie's first tune was :conf:

anyone know anything that marcos played?
Sand Leaper
PvD played a mix of FSOL - Papua New Guinea too, if I can remember which one it was though. And the version of More Than A Life Away he played was much techier than the original, as well as longer. Think he prolly fiddled with it himself. Sheridan played:

Matthew Dekay - Bad
Oliver Prime - Mind Games
Marcos - Just For A Day (Marc van Linden Remix)
MIKE - Massive Motion

Which me and Fiona managed to catch all of in a great spot on the floor with people going mad all over the place. Probably what I'll remember most fondly from this night, where I truly enjoyed myself, despite overcrowdedness and PvD being pretty e (the banging parts made up for it somewhat). Met up with old friends, got acquainted with some new faces and generally just had an immense time. Just wish Toni had been there too :(

Oh yeah, and Rick/Kr00t: whoever that girl who let me crash at hers for two hours was, tell her I love her. She single-handedly boosted my stamina to the level I needed to finish the weekend without missing anything due to sleep deprivation. I can't thank her enough.

lol, the first time I actually enjoy a set from PvD, and everyone else thinks it was wank :stongue:

Goes to show I;m just not one for that broning techy sound, plodding along pounding basslines, I'd rather listen to hard house :p
