Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?

More regular access to the fridge.
The storing space is more open in fridges too.
Light would be too expensive if it were to be freeze proof I think ( I'm not sure ).
But overall due to the arrangements techniques in freezers there is basically no space for light to travel between the packages rendering a light useless.
