well, i just think australia needs exports. we bring the big names in, but we dont send any big names out.
people notice this.. the punters i mean.
so johnny retard down the street could buy a pair of turntables and be famous these days. theres no appeal after how long has the "dj-scene" thrived for? for people who constantly tell me that a style of music needs to evolve, and change with tastes.. maybe so do the guys 'behind the scenes' as well. maybe people are sick of the man behind the red curtain, maybe soups has a big dick

I agree with you when you say we dont export Australian Talent enough, maybe because we are looked apon as a brother/sister country to the rest of the world and thier music culture. I think its because Australia changes too much, and trys too hard to adapt and fit in rather than to build up something stable and unique. If we were capable of unity amongst the states and dj's/producers within them i think our chances of world domination would be far greater. |

Hey it's also a forum for the distribution on information on clubbing and events whether past or upcoming and we're just trying to spread the word. We believe in what we're doing and we've tried to create a quality event that panders to the interests of a wide spectrum of people so that we can raise money for people much less fortunate than us. It will be a great party and hopefully will raise somewhere aproaching $10,000 which is nearly enough to build a school in Nepal.
I getting serious responses and pledges for support and I thank everyone for their interest in BALBALIKA GROOVES and hope you'll make it down there and have a great time for great cause.
