whats up everybody,
i have a korg karma for about a year now,
while recording on my own sequencer i find myself limited to my abilities on the keyboard which apparently suck,
i know computer recording could be easy and could lead to great results,
my question is,
what 2 do now ? buy which software?
thx in advance |

| The Karma is an awesome keyboard. Anyway, try Project 5 v2...or if you have the cash, Cubase SX 3. I didn't mention Fruity Loops or Reason because I don't like their sequencers. :) |

Hey. Honestly, if you are really looking to get a big start with hardware, get a copy of Cakewalk SONAR 4. It will run you around $479 for the studio version and around %979 for the producer version. The big difference between the two versions is the producer edition adds in large support for surround sound as well as a few other features. The MIDI capabilities of Sonar far exceed any other program I have used, including Cubase. Project 5 v2 is also a good choice but if you were planning to stick to hardware, stick with Sonar.
Cheers,
