New track that I finished earlier this year but didn't have a chance to upload to my server until now. As of last fall, my tracks are produced with a Roland XP-30 synth, Fruity Loops, Pro Tools 6.4LE and a hint of Reason 3.5
Please let me know what you think.

Also, my last track had a messed up link, so here it is again just in case you're interesed, it's a really uplifting track:

Thanks!

I just checked out the edited one.

Sounds really old school to me.

Has some nice elements tho.

The synths sounds really dry to me, use some reverb on it and also some delay.
Same for the pad , if you have access to a VST plug in with Unison, add a couple of voices more, for that pad.

The tracks need more life, use of reverb in the synths is really required here.

Good suggestions, I think your absolutely right. I've been trying to figure out what its missing and you've nailed it! I'll have to strip this one apart and re-edit it one of these days. Thnx

Hey,
Listening .... Hehehe hard since the begin ;), the first I notice is that ur Snare/Clap needs more effecs on it, I would add more reverb with some Gate, hey nice melodie u got! Sounds very New Age, soft, easy to listen to, very diferent than the begin of the track :D. As someone else said this is totally old school, reminds me that feeling EDM from Alice Djay and Venga Boys :).
In overall, the track is pretty cool, it has that happy feeling I like, I just would work more with the effects in each synth, and too balance better the Phat sounds because they are using a very big spectrum of ur Freqs, other than that great track keep it up ;).
Kopi =o.

That's a sample of a track i have in record collection from a few years back. Although i like the way you have reworked it.
MiC
dj kane i'm curious, do you know the name of the track you're referring to?
I always wonder if i'm "borrowing" a tune from a track I might have buried in the back of my brain.
The "Purple Sky" track is actually based on the first 4 chords of a Smashing Pumpkins track, but I didn't know if "Flowback" sounded alot like anything else.

By the way the feedback has been awesome, i'm definately taking notes, thanks!

mic could u fix the link please so i can hear it again then i'll tell you what track it is. cheers!
MiC
hmm...link should be working...try again and let me know
thnx

Mic sounds similar to System F - Out Of the Blue. But i really like ur track id play it in my set. U should send it 2 a label.
MiC
I had a feeling you'd say Out of the Blue! I did notice the similarities while I was producing it..hope Ferry doesn't mind :tongue2
There aren't any (good) labels in Canada for dance/trance music, i'll have to try somewhere independent in the USA or maybe a small label in the UK. Any suggestions? Thanks again

dj_kane
Try Platipus label "[email protected] or nebula "[email protected], go 2 www.tiesto.com on the contacts section theres an email where u attach ur track an send it 2 his label and im sure u already no 2 copyright ur track b4 sendin it incase some1 steals it. good luck man! excellent track!
