Best storage for music on pc????

Hi, to cut a long stoy short imm wondering what peoples views are on the "best" storage format for use on a pc, i.e use mp3, wma, atrac(Sony's format) or other.
imm asking this as ive decieded to buy a sony memory stick walkman and am gonna store all my music on my pc to make it easier to copy to walkman, space aint to much of a issue, just wondered wot offered the best quality

mp3 since it's standard and supported on every platform/OS etc... also (almost) every music-file you download is in the mp3-format
and since space aint an issue, then the advantages of the other formats you mentioned not important |

| I think Ogg Vorbis is making its way through the internet simply because it is free. No royalties or anything, jus check it out, might be good for storage as well :) |
