After some stunning solo outings and a few collaborations, Stel teams up again with production partner Good Newz to bring us 'Little Soul'.
Stel & Good Newz's last single 'Particle' was a huge success in Miami, Ibiza and their native homeland Greece. The DJ support was phenomenal with plays on Radio 1 and appearances on numerous compilations such as Paul Oakenfold's Creamfields CD.
As 'Particle' was responsible for well and truly launching the duo's careers we could think of no better way to kick off our new sister label Therapy Music.
The track was specifically written only as an intro for Daves Therapy Sessions II CD, but due to the torrent of emails we received about the track, we insisted the lads to go back in the studio and turn out a B side so we could give it the full release it deserves.
Not only did they come up with the storming club mix of 'Little Soul' complimenting the mellower sound of the original, but Stel also wrote 'Second Chance' finishing off the package with a bang.
The original has a beautiful warm feel to it with its guitars and piano hooks literally riding on the rhythm of the beat whilst tantalising melodies gently wash over. The club mix is a much more full on affair that utilises all the key ingredients of the original but adds a driving bassline and tougher percussion that gives off so much energy it will no doubt satisfy anyones needs for a follow up to 'Particle'.
'Second Chance' is yet another solo outing for Stel and we just had to include it on this release. Drawing from quite a few influences the track incorporates a throbbing bassline and electro tinged sounds that are covered with sweeping sonic melodic riffs. |
