need help piano roll in cakewalk

I know its not the best sequencer but ,its what im using right now,anyways tech support is closed for the day id thought id post my problem to see if anyone else has this same problem
im using home studio xl 2004
the problem im having is with the piano roll
when editing or drawing parts it wont allow you to erase or
draw one part at a time it will either erase the whole
piece or draw the whole bar in.
so has anyone else experienced this and would did you do ?

Hey. I have Sonar 4 so I'm not sure it it will fully apply to you but I'm not able to replicate what you have described. If you can show a picture or have a better description I see if I cant pin it down.

uhh? i dont know who told you that, but i know many professional musicians who swear by cakewalk.
anyways, when you are in your piano roll there are 2 different mouse forms you can use...
so open up your piano roll and hit 's' on ur keyboard... or hit 'd' ... the d is for draw and allows you to manipulate ur note size(1/16 -> whole)... |
