| Did anyone else notice that the song "Talk" has totally nabbed the melody from "Kraftwerk - Computer Love"? |

well i suppose its not as bad as radiohead |
I was gonna say the opposite. I think radiohead are fantastic, OK computer was a groundbreaking album. Coldplay as never been that, but it is musically decent and has universal appeal (hence its popularity)... not to say it's trite.
I dunno how people can hate any music just because it has any touch of the negative, melancholic or contemplative in it. These things are a part of life and just as deserving of artistic exploration as inane unjustified joy. |

Wow have U been living in the proverbial cave for so long?
I I were to explain where those lyrics came from I admit...I would have to succumb to your level of ignorant idiocy |

Im loving the entire album. Standout tracks for me are A Message, The Speed of Sound, Fix You, Square One, and White Shadows.

agreed. radiohead are infinitely more interesting and innovative than coldplay (who in many respects have fashioned their entire sound after radiohead's "the bends" -- an album released a decade ago...) |
