Per the request of the general TA population, I am happy to provide what I hope will be the final update on the situation involving Santiago Niņo and myself. We had a very civil conversation this morning in which he informed me that Existence Records has agreed to cut me a check as payment for my work on a website for Santiago. I gave him my mailing information and it is my understanding that the label will handle things from this point forward.
I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who took the time to show their support throughout the situation. I truly appreciate it.
I have no hard feelings toward Santiago and I sincerely hope that we can put this issue behind us once and for all. I wish him the best in his future endeavours as a producer and DJ. What he does with the website from this point forward is up to him. He owns the copyright to the design, as far as I am concerned. (I do keep all of my projects on file, however, in case a client ever loses their hard copy.)
I'm considering this matter closed, and I would appreciate it if a mod would lock this thread. (And delete any replies that make it into the thread before the lock, if possible. I want the issue left alone, because Santiago decided to handle the situation. I think he deserves to be left alone at this point.) I just want it to exist as a record that the issue has been resolved. |
