hmm, well since i live in melbourne, here are a few suggestions:
[*] visit the CBD (central Melbourne) and check out the Federation Square, the pub (if it's your sorta thing lol), the Crown Casino, stuff like that.. if you want to go to a club or anything as such, visit www.clubland.com.au or you can ask me for any info you are after.
[*] bring LOTS of winter clothing! it's the beginning of winter, so that's enough i need to say in regards to weather lol.
[*] if you are after shopping or bargain hunting, visit central Melbourne, Chapel Street (located in South Yarra), Bridge Road in Richmond and some of the suburban shopping centres would do you some good too.
that's all i can think of for now, if you need any more info whatsoever, don't hesitate to let me know! :) |

Prepare for a non-existant trance scene!
having said that...the beaches, the girls, the weather and the lazy lifestyle makes up for it :D

| The other cool thing about Melbourne is the myriad cool little bars tucked away in the back alleys of the CBD. So keep an eye out. |

| Watch out for teh poisonous frogs. Your die in 12 minutes after one have sex with it. Actually, I recommend that you do not have sex with any of the wildlife in australia. |

Canberra: Capital of australia... keep the out unless you have some kind of fetish for government institutions/builings... or annoying circular roads that confuse the crap out of you. |

It depends where on chapel you go. from toorak up to commercial rd its classy/flashy style with heaps of greeks/turks/lebos in their hoted up cars doin laps. after that its kinda funky/off-beat/bum territory. Greville st are is ok to hang around sometimes apart from that safeway/coles parking lot.
And further back before the bridge when it's still called church street is pretty much useless unless you wanna buy some ridiculously overpriced furniture.
But there are a few gold places to chill out. Orange and kazbar have good coffee. Greco and chapellis is open all the in time which is handy. Further up orange and lala land are cool to chill at. And there's a few alright places on greville like mofo.
And if you feel like picking up some dressed up young skanks boutique or station hotel are cool. And if you're after some gay lovin just turn right down commercial rd.
Pretty eclectic mix really. |
