Repairing Headphones?

I use V700s myself but a friend recently gave me his old pair of HDJ1000s. The headphones are cosmetically perfect but the right headphone channel doesnt work. Left channel is perfect. I was wondering how repairable this is, has any1 tried reconnecting or repairing headphone channels?

Thanks for any advice

yeah...
all the time..

I tear headphoens apart, and mix up parts..

I have Phillips HP250s, but they have this another layer of padding i added to them, from other headphones, it blocks out soudn way better now....

Also, I tear apart headphones..

Ur going ot have to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL... headphones are extremely sensitive... don't touch the front.... just a tiny touch can crease one of the films on the outside, and up the quality....

chances are that just one of the wires has been torn off... my suggestion is just to resoldier it on..
u need to use the meter that electrians use, to check circuits, just incase that's not the problem....

Good luck,

tell me if you need help, I"ll do my best
