| so check it...i bought this cd about 8 years ago...many of the 13 tracks are 14-16 years old...and this still holds up...i got about 1000 cds purchased and burned over the past 11 years and i still find myself going back to this hard tinged acid / techno mix...13 track short mix which its out of print since it was pressed back in '97 but if there are any Beltram fans out there or anyone interested in him then hit me up and ill get ya copy...lots of Beltram stuff on it production wise...not well mixed...but then again Beltram was never a great dj mixing-wise... a few bonus Beltram tracks included that are not on the mix...its hard...its twisted...its mental...think limelight circa 1991... |

not a big fan of the length of the mix well under one hr (around 45 minutes) and the fact he used three tracks of his own in the mix...but it works...its a bangin hard acid techno mix that will transport you to an era that was completely void of commercial bull... |

| i guess i just feel it sometimes...oh and a lil fyi...when someone refers to ancient they and use the words "i am" they are usually referring to their age...not the year...but thanks for letting me indirectly know that youve been in the scene a long time...much appreciated... |

total agree with ya psy-t...im no techno maven either...i had my period where i enjoyed techno a lot...i just find it really interesting how it held up pretty well with tracks that came out at the begininng of the techno / acid era...i mean this is definitely no 10 outta 10 mix...its just fun to listen to still after all these years and many cds are not...im trying not to be audiophilic...did i make that word up???...i reserve that for much better technically skilled djs... |

the earliest track he used is from 1985...:eek: couple from 89 and the rest 90s... now thats mixing up.. this came out in 97/98 or whatever.. just to show you that its not all about brand new tracks, its about knowing to use ANY track and make that all relevant. |

| exactly...thats why sasha and digweeds renaissance and northern exposure series (the first two) are sooooooooo amazing, timeless and classic...and many many other early mix albums...now a days its mostly about pluggin whats new and hot and the flavor of the month...hurry up and get a scoop before its gone... |
