My father stayed there while in Dubai a couple of years ago, he was mistaken for a very regular customer with the same name and was moved to the Presidential Suite. His view of it...over the top.
It is not as expensive as you all make it out to be either, was looking at taking my girlfriend there and it was about £370 per person per night which isn't much more than Four Seasons. |

| i remember getting a good price as well with a corporate rate, it depends on the season it can also go up to $4000 a night, yet we decided on staying next door at the Jumairah (u can get into burj alarab for free if u stay there). |

| If this is the first 7-star hotel, where are all the 6-star hotels? |

Le Saint Geran in Mauritius, South Africa
Pellazo Versace in Sydney, Australia
Although *technically* all these ratings are self awarded, there is no such thing as a 6 or 7 star hotel.. even the official Burj Al Arab site, doesn't claim anywhere that it's a 7 star hotel. (It does however claim to be the best in the world, no argument there! lol)
