Shaving has become a bit of a hygene/grooming/basic maintenance thing for me. I'd recommend getting some good electric clippers and using them instead. When you use a razor it cuts the hairs below the skin, and then the hairs grow back into the skin when they come back out again which leads to razor burn and ingrown hairs (the worst itch you will ever experience in your life). I recommend putting some metho on too once your finished, stops the odd ingrown hair. Also when you jump in the shower afterwards, make sure you scrub that area with a flannel or something against the grain on the hairs, that makes sure they dont grow into the skin (lifts the hairs above the skin).
I think thats just about all you'd need to know. Trimming is for lamers, go all the way or dont do anything at all. |

I second this 100%. Using a razor to shave downstairs will result in some of the most painful itching in the universe - a "personal trimmer" (the ones that come with attachments to trim nose hair and stuff) are usually your best bet. Using those with a plastic guard are the best way to get a consistent trim without experiencing much pain.
Another tip, after you're done, always moisturize. always. it usually saves you the trouble of some trouble hairs and makes your skin a bit happier. |

I usually just trim the grevious offenders once a week. Girls def like it and are always more likely to do the same after they see you have thought of them. Just beware of the assumption you will create when doing this, once she sees you trim it will have to stay that way or she's gonna notice. After she sees the jungle starting to creep back in, shes gonna avoid the journey South.
I got a Micro Touch Trimmer, works real well at trimming after the initial hair is gone, nice for keeping down on razor burn too. |

i never moisturize or anything. i used to, but once i got used to it down there, (first time was just over a year ago), i didnt have to moisturize or anything.
but there are a couple places why my electric shaver cant go, and so i have get a razor. i shaved about 3 or 4 days ago, so im still enjoying the great hygeinic feeling. |

Anyways for me it definate shave now with a ultra sharpe Raz0r ! At first i thought WTF have i done, esp when the itching starts and stuff but over a few weeks it feels nice, and yes i think it improves oral and im trying to grow a " Snail Trail " which is the hair from your belly button downwards to your Johnson 'Gr8 Film BTW' , i think its pointless having hair there, esp on girls, you cant neat a nice shaven pus :)
