denonx1500 for scratching

ok, i really interested to learn scratching i have been mixing for 2 years i got technics sl1200-m3d and denonx1500, is it ok to use denon for sratching mixer... i know its not a scratching mixer, which is very fragile

Read the box and the manual mate :conf: Then scratch away.

The Penny & Giles crossfader can take alot of .

Just make sure you downloaded the update from denon's website so you don't have any delay, and set your crossfader curve to the sharpest it'll go. The mixer will be fine.

Hey man, this mixer was made to be an all around mixer, it was made for scratching aswell, Denon even have sponsored scratch DJs like DJ Shy and afew others to demo them at shows, plus even though I ain't much of a scratch DJ, I use the xfader for all sorts of things and its been takin a beating since day one, so don't worry, you and your mixer will be fine.

Mixer should be fine just download update set crossfader curve to very sharp and scratch away.

I do heaps of scratching on mine and it takes it like a champ... The P&G crossfader does a mint job

thx guy, it works well, i did update it btw last question, how do i delete the sample whitout turning off the mixer, >.< i cant find it in the manual.

Hold down the paramter knob for the sampler and then press button A.
