I'd say Filteria is a safe bet! His album Sky Input was isn't only chaotic and multi-layered, but it was also heralded as one, if not THE best of 2004.
I'd also say Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite. Unlinke their newer stuff (which is even better though!) this is very much goa/psy.
Green Nuns Of The Revolution make acidic goa deluxe.
Pleiadians - IFO is just about the most classic chaotic multilayered album in the scene.
Transwave - Helium. The whole album is great, but there's one track on it that's INCREDIBLE: Trashish. Very trashy and metallic masterpiece.
UX also uses a lot of acid on Ultimate Experience, it's very crunchy and a bit dark too. I like it.
Sadly the goa part of the universe is running dry a bit lately... so other than Filteria, there isn't much new stuff worth checking out.

| He's got quite a bit of talent and knows his but this album really sucks IMO... i guess its just not my style i had a listen and didnt know what to expect... too many vocals and poppy rubbish |

| yeh e-t seemed week for BT which is too bad i mean on the special edition of movements in still life we where offered dreaming,namaste,(correct me if im wrong) calling your name, (the best bt track of all time hands down) giving up the ghost. it was the literal definition of BT it was dark, hypnotic ,over electronisized and it stays in your head for weeks(if not months) after. :D |

True that!!! I really hated ESCM. It was so shatty!!! And this is comming from someone who listens to BT almost ALL the time (like right now)!!! Emotional Technology + Movement in Still Life are his best!!! The only song that was good on ESCM was Content, which was very well made. I like BT's style, and he was the first techno artist I ever heard!!! |
