yeah i agree with butterfly. just keep it and play the games. The top-loading NES came out when Super NES was just getting started. basically it was an overhaul to the existing NES to keep dedicated NES fans happy instead of making them convert to the Super NES.
and in fact the top-loading machine has fewer bugs and problems than the push-in-push-down tray system. A lot of NES (tray loading) have lots of problems, either they need to be taken apart and cleaned thoroughly or they're just too far gone.
Top loading machines have proven their worth in time, because they still perform exceptionally well. At the funcoland near my house that's the only type of NES they would sell.
but hey if you do decide to get rid of your games, let me know. What games do you have? i'll take em off your hands |

Hmmm... the games I have.
*goes and gets some of them*
The first three Marios, Renegade, first three Ninja Turtles games (huzzah!), this game called Rad Racer (it's totally not that rad), ummm, Double Dragon 3... a bunch of manly games. My brother played 'em usually though I played the Marios and the Ninja Turtles ones :) |

MArio 1 & 3 are excellent, 2 was just weird. some people love it others dont really know it all that well. rad racer is cool because you can take 3-d glasses and press select and play the game in 3-D. Ninja turtles 1 was awesome and i only played Double Dragons II the revenge and double dragons/battletoads in the arcade/
do you have bionic commando? my copy doesnt work anymore :( and Tecmo Superbowl? my roommate never gave that back to me after he moved out. :( |

"bought"? "bought"? In the mall that I went to as a kid they had pogs out in these little Tupperware bins and had a little sign that said 10 cents a piece. You could easily just grab them out of there and walk off since no one was watching them. I have yet to buy a pog :p |

| Oh I used to freaking love POGS! I totally forgot about those things. Actually now that I think about it... it's probably pretty sad that I used to be so obsessed. I had a HUGE collection. |

| I'd bet if preserve it in good shape and you wait a good 50 years, some nerdy collector will pay a million dollars for it. |
