| I don't think I'd miss caffeine on it's own but I would definitely miss coffee...sometimes there's more caffeine in tea so it's not the same :) |

I am doing a detox next week... I planned it around the cycle so I wouldn't have any carb or chocolate cravings...
I will miss my coffee in the morning! |

I did not realize it was a poll about what you would miss if you where detoxing just what one would miss if they had to do without something as in vices. And sex is definately one for some people.
p.s. Masterbation is included in the sex LOL. |

May we ask why you are doing such a thing? :) |
certainly. altho i generally live a fairly healthy lifestyle in terms of food/exercise, i do consume certain things (namely coffee, alcohol and some processed foods, especially aspartame and sucralose). The idea of a detox is that, after consuming these types of substances, toxins build, and if you perform a detox, your body will run more effectively-- this is not to say that your body doesn't effectively elimnate toxins as part of it's normal function, but it does eliminate added stress do that this function works better. Part of most detox's include foods and supplemnts that focus on aiding the liver and colon.
I've always consumed a lot of fruits, vegtables, fish, nuts, seeds..but I have found that in my quest to keep my weight down, I rely a lot of diet products which are full of chemicals, so i'm really trying to cut down on these things. Rather than daily consumption of processed diet foods, i'd prefer to consume mostly whole foods w/ the occasional indulgence (on a non-diet food treat) |

chocolate - can't live without that substance
I chose option 3, although arguably the best chocolate is not heavily processed |

| Best chocolate = Lindt-Lindor, Cote D'Or, Cadbury-Dairy Milk, Guerlain (the seashells)...ALL processed and ALL my faves... |

I voted that i'd miss drugs the most.. but i must specify that i am only refering to pot.. i've gone without processed foods and honestly it wasn't too awful.. if you have the time to make all your meals and such its actually not that difficult to put up with...
pot however is a different story... i went to mexico for a week and there was no pot to be found and by like the 4th day i was getting the shakes!! i just love that sticky icky too much to go without..for a long period of time anyways..
