Not to be a nitpicking bastard, but Meat Katie did Fabriclive 21. Fabric 21 was DJ Heather (an excellent album by the way).

Actually Adam Beyer's compilation is Fabric 22. Fabriclive 22 is Scratch Perverts, available 13 June.

Why 2005 isn't good for albums?
Hmm, the year isn't even over, so how could I say. But if we have to use Armin's ASOT 2005 as a guideline, this year promises a LOT of crap...

What about:

"A trip to Trance 4 mixed by Rank 1"
"Positive ways 4 mixed by Kyau vs Albert"

These are quite good! I'd say youve been listening to the wrong stuff.

oh yeah Sasha - Fundacion 2005 is good too!

* edit I forgot to mention Yahel - Around the world! An absolute must have. Also way out west's Dont look now is nice :o

** edit: There is an "Young Parisians" album coming up!

JUST on the Ninja Tune label, Jaga Jazzist and Amon Tobin released new albums, and Mr. Scruff's first album was finally repressed.

Three great albums from a single label.

holy crap. hopefully they don't revert to a standard mixing style just for that mix.

and as many people have pointed out, it's not a bad year for all albums. just a bad year for the music you listen to, if you think it has been a bad year.
