Controlling Cutoff In cubase w/ V-Station????

How do i control the Cutoff for V-Station in cubase via the controller lane in the midi?
Its ussually brightness for other VSTs but it doesnt work with Vstation :whip:

to add a controller lane in the midi track, you have to first assign the filter frequency to a controller (so on your midi keyboard, enter in 105, on whatever control knob). that knob is now set to control the filter frequency in V-Station (and midi value 105 for whatever other VSTi you select later on). record enable, record, and turn the knob a few times and you'll now see [*control 105] in your midi control menu and you can draw in whatever automation you want.
although this gives you a more hands on feel, i think it would be a lot easier to just draw in the automation on the VST track in the sequencer window. |

expand
look for your vstation
hit the plus sign
should have OSC something as the default value
click more, then look for filter frequency
press the R button to make it green
automate away |
