I don't think I've had a chance to meet these people you speak of...

Back to topic, my favourite pre-2000 party is a tie between:

  • Syrous - Hyperactive (6 year) - September 1999
  • KICKIT - Adam Freeland & Q-Bert - November 1999

fffsss...you shouldn't be in this thread youngin. :)

This here is grown folk conversation. You were what, 16 at the time. :p

Since i wasn't in Toronto i'd have to say either DT @ Tunnel ( 98 ? ) or Twilo - 99 ( PVD / Sasha & Digs / Sven Vath / Carl Cox --- pick one, they were all great )

Green Velvet Live at Industry Nov 1996... hands down.

Nothing beats the live PAs he used to do. It's sad to watch his shows now. Not even 1/100 as good as they used to be.

Second best was the original Sneaks Birthday at Industry in 1998 when it was held as a surprise party for him. Everyone showed up and partied. They flew in all his Dj friends from around the world to be there and everyone had a turn on the decks. Good times!

You were probably in grade 6 "language arts" class when I had the pleasure of hitting up Destiny parties and nightclubs for the first time.

Now that is funny...hahaha ;)

Turn a general comment about the board being young into a personal jab at my age? LOL you may be older by numbers but that doesn't say much about maturity....now THAT is funny.

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see me making a jab (?) at your age. Since when was saying "i was doing this, when you were doing that" a jab? Chipper up dooder.

Who the hell cares what anybody's age is? As long as one has a top-notch attitude - I'm glad to have them around.
