Are Mark Oliver solo nights usualy this good?
I only go to the Guv for the big names and I've found his opening sets to be fairly good sometimes and lacking other times.
I'd love to go on a night where he's going solo if he's actualy that good. |

yes in fact many most of the time they are BETTER than guest nights. The music mark plays over 9 hours is definately second to none.
My friends from Windsor come up pretty much only when Mark is playing solo. In fact they were going to come last week but postponed to this week to hear mark alone when they found out there was a guest. |

Sounds like I'll have to check him out then, how often does he headline instead of just guest mix? |

Guest mix?
When internationals come to the guvernment it is they who are the guests. Mark is the resident.
Mark plays by himself often but not enough anymore. |

Agreed,
Guv has been whoring out all these djs every week.
I and a bunch of others dont really go anymore cuz we cant remember the last time when there was a MO solo set. And when there is one, i usually cant make it. MO solo nights are filled with great / new beats and a waaaay better crowd.
Dont get me wrong, i enjoy the odd dj guest appearance but every week is a little much. |

I couldn't agree more. That was one insane MO solo set!!! Got there pretty early around 10:30 and just chilled a bit. I brought a good buddy of mine Josh to the Guv for his first time. I’m proud to say I have converted him from the devilish clutch of top 40 and made him see the light of Trance:tongue2. He loved it and can’t wait to go back he even tried to dethrone me as the podium whore :haha:. Can't wait to tear it up at Ultra Spin 8.
