They did some events at The Docks last summer. Apparently wasn't met with much success... |

i think it had potential just the marketing of it. I remember half of the flyer being about some skanky dancing girls and then a small blurb at the bottom about the dj.
If they tried to do it at republik it might work

| The promoting for the Godskitchen events at Docks last summmer were very very poorly done. The event usually wouldnt have even been posted on TA until a few days before, and therefor people had made plans to go / do something else. It does have potential, just in need of some better promoters. |

agreed.. i think the night had a lot more potential ..
i'm surprised they didn't promote the events like the Godskitchen USA nights ..

Promotion in general for the Docks isn't very good.. The OM party wasn't promoted very well either.. and DJ's such as Danny T and Tiesto promote themselves so no work needed there! They need someone in there who is gonna make people aware of these events. and then yes, maybe Godskitchen will stand a chance... it may go better a second time round though.. but probably won't happen! |

Intersting situation considering GK owns the "Global Gathering" rights & trademark - and The Guvernment is using "Global Gathering" for their July 1 party.

lol... the Guvernment owns the trademark rights in Canada .. albeit not unintentionally .. ;)

Reason why I'm not an IP lawyer: I would have figured that The Docks would own the rights to the GK brand (and associated trademarks) within Canada (due to their affilication [license?] with GK Global). |
