Absolutely e. That's really all that can be said about his dj'ing on saturday night there.
After all the hype surrounding him I was appauled to learn he was in fact playing with turntables for the first time in his life, he never got one mix, he was playing tunes right till the and and just in general being a total wank.
At the end he just started ing around with the record that was playing, not scratching it, just pushing it back and forward, then did a stupid in spinback that sent the needle flying off the deck, finished with strings of life, and pointed to the crowd as if he'd done a good job, well newsflash , you were e. |

haha scathing review there.
im not going to lie i enjoyed the stuff he was playing.. couldnt really get into luke fair over in the bedrock arena, so this was a welcome break whilst waiting for desyn. i saw the spinback..was pretty horrific:stongue: but generally i thought he was pretty good apart from that. only saw him for about half an hour or so though. |

I was in right at the start of his set, he never put any of the mixes together well for the first twenty minutes, so I promptly left in disgust.
to be be fair tho i was later informed he had problems with needles skipping. i was in with a friend who was a big fan of him and even he left for a wander during his set. |

Yikes. Sounds like a terrible experience. I am a Derrick May fan too here. Hopefully it's just the needle problem, though from what I've heard Derrick May is kinda like Oakenfold when it comes to mixing. But May's productions are brilliant. |
