| Am I the only one??? Some of her tracks are great. Definately AWESOME remixes, but her voice gets on nerves. I mean I love Ayumi Hamamsaki - Whatever (Ferry Corsten Remix). But I can't listen to all her tracks consecutively b/c I'll go insane. |

LOL this could provide some interesting arguements but i got to agree
I like Ayumi's tracks but her voice does tend to ummmmm get too much after a while, i prefer the DUB mixes of her tracks.
The full vocal ones tend to get on your nerves after a while

Yeah well, I was talking to my friend and he says that in Japan people are obsessed with looks and image. He says you'll see so many cute and fine looking people that you get nauseous. Ayumi is like the Britney Spears of Japan. She's hot, fine, and without a single drop of talent. He thinks that Ayumi got popular b/c of her looks. People like Utada Hikaru (IMO, a great Japanese singer with a beautiful voice) always gets criticised b/c isn't so visually appealing as her counterpart. Go figure.
Anyway, I was putting in my votes for Best Song of 2001 and I DLed some Ayumi songs to check out what all the fuss was about. Why are there so many of her tracks on the nominations list? OMG...my head was about to blow listening to them. |

| i don't understand how you peep o can say that? i fine her voice amzin... have u heard the new album? or som remixes like "fly away (vdm remix)" well i dunno everyone has there own opinion... but i certainly think her voice is great...if u say u don't like her voice ur basically sayin ur against the japanese language thas my opinion |

um....excuse me??? against the japanese language? get real dude. i listen to japanese pop occassionally and i don't find the vocals of those other artists annoying. i think the japanese language is beautiful but ayumi's voice is not. you can have your opinions but please think twice before you state something like that. |

Umm...NO.
I dont find myself coming back to just about anything By Ayumi. The tracks are often decent, and I am all for vocals, but her tinny little voice, AND the fact I dont understand what she is saying sorta hampers it. This doesnt mean that we dont like the Japanese or their language, thats absurd...late/ |

i am with you...how can you all say this...her voice is better than most of the vocal i heard.....its prob cause you all aint use to listening to jap music...like in anime and video games.. |
