Come on now guys, There is no need to get mad at eachother just because someone thinks that Argentina or Brazil will win. I personally hope that Mexico or Germany will win this. We've all got our teams that we support under the tournament and want them to win this thing.
Cheers! |

Yes, and it's been worth it. Very good games so far. Actually i think this tournament isn't such a bad idea, it's a good test for the organization of the World Cup and gives us some football to watch. It's only bad for the players, who should be on holidays or representing their clubs in South America. |

Interesting game between Germany and Brazil. In the end, inexperience of German defenders cost them the game. Oh and German strikers sucking air.
This was first time I had the chance to observe the new German team under Klinsmann and I was pleased to see a lot of hustle and digging for the ball, plus some really fluid passing from German midfield. Good to see Deisler back.
More I see Kevin Kuranyi, more I wonder how the heck does he score goals. He's not fast, he doesn't do well in air, he can't pass the ball well, he doesn't have good first touch. Just wtf does he have?
Brazil suffered from some dodgy defending too. Something to worry about if they're going to win the next WC. |

Japan was close to win over Brazil tonight. Now I'm pretty dissapointed about that because Japan had a stunning oppurtunity to win over those overrated stars. They've got to start thinking forward and stop chilling, Well, Sure, they miss players like Ronaldo, Cafú and Roberto Carlos, But that does not have to affect their play on the pitch. They've got a whole country full of talents - And yes, It's a hard choice by taking out the "best" players. I don't think that they will have something to pick up under the Confederations Cup. They've played lazy and bad in my oppinion, Even though they won over Greece (that was even more bad). I wish Japan good luck in the future and hope for their return to the World Cup 2006 in Germany will be more lucky - It's a polite team with great individual players that can work as a team. If I was a leader of a big team in Europe, I would surely pick up Kaji which is a amazing player too me, Agressive, Fast, and he really understands the game, Great player in my oppinion.
Anyway, I surely hope that Mexico or Germany wins this cup. It would be nice for Mexican football too win, But even more important for Germany. I'm tired of major teams like Brazil & Argentina always wins everyting. Time for a change on the throne.
Mexico & Germany for the win! |
Zico is doing a great job, japan will make better in the future but c'om dude they started playing soccer these days hehe |
