| My A/C stopped working properly over the weekend:confused: ...So now it was time for that great adventure...searching & calling for someone to come & fix it.Its one of those units that both an A/C & gas heating system in my condo. Its called a "Magic Pac" from Lennox...I wish I could have my magic wand & make it work:whip:...I talked to my Property Manager & he told me to call Enbridge Gas because our building uses them for gas anyway & so I called them..THe earliest the can come is Sat afternoon:eyespop: but I don't have a choice really & they offered a protection plan for one year which would be WAY cheaper then $99 for the initial visit & $99 per hour:nervous:...Oh well...I should be able to survive between now & Sat...Its my 1st time ever dealing with a major repair as a homeowner:sadgreen: so I hope it will be painless. |

| A/c is crucial in the summer, I usually crank mine up to full blast. Reminds me of the Simpsons episode were Homer steals Flanders A/C during the heatwave. That was some serious funny |

I simply LOVE the heat.
I guess A/C is nice for about 10 mins or so once you come inside so you can cool off.
Our whole house is A/C'd, and it drives me nuts. I'm always FREEZING inside in the summer. I think its riddiculous anyways. Who the jesus keeps their house at 15'C? My parents do! In the basement where my room is and where I spent most my time, its even COLDER!
I seriously have the baseboard heating on in my room to bring it back up to a compfortable 23-25oC temperture I prefer. And if I venture into our 2nd living/family room here in the basement, on goes the gas fireplace! I simply can't deal w/ the cold.
:sadgreen:

I lived as a student in Waterloo for 4 years (always during the summer too) and never had an A/C'd house. Didn't bug me one bit. (Though, sleep was annoying until after a few weeks you got used to it and adapted and then it didn't bug me anymore.) And think of the money I saved in hydro! Gawd, I'd never wanna pay the cost some ppl pay to cool their house :S |

there are four seasons in canada:
almost winter, winter, still winter and road work.
i'd like to add giant ants. i don't know where they go in the winter, but as soon as it's nice...they just randomly appear and just crawl around. walk across your desk..on your wall. so you kill that and about half hour later...its buddy comes looking for it. repeat cycle. |

| I pretty much need A/C for sleep so I keep my place cool but NOT to the point where I have icicles:crazy: ...I don't work in a place with A/C but we have lots of big ass floor fans...Dry heat doesn't bother me either but the ing humidity drives me nuts:sadgreen: |

its the worst when your car ac is busted, then you got traffic backed up to your departure point due to road construction...
now that is something & is happening to me |

| And power outages caused by everyone turning on their A/C at the same time in the morning sucks! :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: |
