Yes, that's what I was referring to. If you're coming to Spirit from the east (i.e. 9th ave, 8th ave, 7th, 6th etc) Brite is pretty hard to miss. It's on the beginning of the block that Spirit's on.

Yup, it is about a 10 second walk up the corner from Spirit and Crobar. Chill little place that usually has a dj spinning some pretty chill tracks. :D |

spirit doesnt scan ID's, BUT the bouncer may be dicks about it. I think it was the night that Marcus that was spinnin at spirit, the bouncer looked at my ID and asked me if i had another ID to show him. The ID i showed him was my NYS Drivers license which is legit. Nothing fake on it, nothing chalked, it was my real 21+ ID. He wouldnt give me a braclet b/c i wasnt 5'10". are you in kiddin me?? you are not gonna give me a braclet b/c i dont look my height? I didnt care b/c i wasnt gonna drink in the first place, but thats besides the point.
in general, depending on who is checkin your ID, the bouncers there could be s. so there might be a chance you wont be able to get in with your chalked ID, then again i dunno. |
