Fiddle around and make it better for me, Mister Da'Man.

Ok so i did, and it made me realise creating this sound is not as hard as i thought it would be... So: Benny = cheese :)

Haha! You're a cheese!
Benassi is not cheese. He's quite original and has a "fresh" sound. So don't come here and cheese us.

I want to hear something you did from scratch. :-)

I might get a little flamed for this (because of the unpopularity of his sound in some circles), but does anyone know how to replicate Benassi's signature sound/effect? It's also been used by the Royal Gigolos, Vanguard...a bunch of other people. I've been trying to find his "secret" for a while now and to no avail. Anyone?

one would think you would get flamed for trying to emulate another producers sound...

actually...I think trying to reproduce some sounds is quite good education...though when you're trying to make your next hit a bestseller by copying someone than it's something you should be flamed for...but not this way I hope really...

sure I see your point and I agree with it... I just hear too much music out there that sounds like the next guy
BOOsTER
yes if nothing there's too much people with the same sound now...Global Deejays (sucky) vinylshakerz and some others I can't seem to recall now...blah :)

Just because I want to discover some way to create a specific sound in no way means I want to produce tracks just like his. One reason is to expand my knowledge of synthesis and how to get different sounds with certain plugins - and another is just to be able to use elements of that in a track of mine. It's mostly for fun :)
