I just remembered yesterday as I was getting on the 427 from Gardiner Express Way - looking over at the downtown skyline and couldn't beleive my own eyes - It was hardly visible - all lost in some brownish/greyish ugly haze...was really scarry actually - couldn't believe it was that bad right from the beginning of the sumemr. :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

*EDIT*

And don't forget to drink lots of fluids and keep yourselves hydrated my fellow TOTAs

Well it's not the heat I'm worried about so much, but the fact I could barely see the TO skyline from like 5-10km away

I don't think there's a humid city in the world that doesn't look smogy on a hot and humid day.

I was sitting at a park with my brother last night, and what you could see over the city (at twilight) was just a brownish-yellowish cloud encircling the city. AAAAaaaahhhh, breathe deep :p
Can anyone remember that this past February when it was 12 degrees outside, we allready had a smog alert. In February?!?

Living in the 'burbs (Brampton) I don't really see the smog covering T.O. usually but if they don't do something soon we're all gonna have to wear masks just to breath properly.

Air quality is actually better than it used to be. Its just that they issue smog alerts at a lower reading now. Its just another way to scare the crap out of everyone to get votes.

If you think air quality here is bad i invite you to travel to just about anywhere else.

Just look a couple of hours across the border (where often a lot of our bad air comes from) and you'll see we're pretty lucky to live where we do.
