I heard that Ferry quit Tsunami. Does anyone know why Ferry quit Tsunami and started his own Flashover records? Did he have a falling out with management or something? A link or any info would be appreciated.

Hmmf first I've heard about it, maybe Purple Eye is like Evanescence and going under? :|

This is the first time I've heard about this as well. I always thought Tsunami was Ferry's own imprint on Purple Eye. Perhaps they are just abandoning the name Tsunami after the tsunami in Asia last year and are starting over with Flashover Records. Do you have an article where you heard this news?

They just grew apart and decided not to renew the deal. Tsunami will continue as a label under the Purple Eye flag, it wasn't handled by Ferry anymore recently anyway. Ferry started Flashover instead.

Yes, I also red this 2 weeks ago when I got the Ferry Corsten newsletter. However Sublime is still confirmed for Tsunami and should get release early july..

Curious. What will Tsunami be without Ferry?

Will Flashover aim toward a particular sound?
