Out of all the promotion groups that have a strong presence in the LA area, what can be done to host an Armada Night here? Bring Em All Out!
Armin Van Buuren
Markus Schulz
Ozgur Can
Perry O'neil
Remy
Harry Lemon
Enmass
and
If anything bring out Andy Moor!!!!! |

First and formost you need a budget, then a venue with a large enough capacity to make your money back. All DJs schedules must be open for that same night. Lots of plane tickets and accommodations to factor into the budget. The hours of operation would have to be extensive to allow all DJs enough time to perform. The likelyhood of pulling this off (although not a bad idea) here in the states is slight. However, if there are certain DJs and artists you really want to see come to LA (such as Andy Moor), post in this forum. There are definitely productions in LA that will listen and act. I assure you.
By the way, I haven't seen you since JOOF at Spundae Hollywood. Hopefully I'll see you there at Spundae on the 18th. Hopefully you'll roll in.

Hey, you got good credit! Why dont you finance this event. if you dont make your money back, just claim BK! hehe jk. I know this probably wont happen but it would be nice. What is going on at spundae the 18th? I'll definately be there this weekend to support our Local DJ's in the main room! I dont know if I should roll over there or walk....... I rolled around pretty hardcore memorial day weekend (LA/VEGAS/SD/LA) as you did too! |

He's on fire right now with his remixes and productions. I'd definitely go to see him.
What'd be cool to see would be Armin and Andy on the same night! |

Yeah memorial weekend, what a blast! I rolled street legal that weekend with no exotic imports or supercharged hotrods. Really, the issue is not the money, that's the easy part of that undertaking. It's the logistical factors that make it really hard to do. That's the sort of thing you might be able to pull off sucessfully during the WMC. I'd love to see Andy Moor and Adam White together. I have a feeling 2005 is the beginning of a great new era for our music. We are in the beginning of an EDM bull market, but the rules have changed a little. This isn't a head-fake. |

| Beyond the obvious logistical nightmare of bringing all of the talent together, you also have to deal with the reality that certain DJs only play for established promoters because they feel a need to support clubnights that have supported them over the years - hence you need some sort of credibility going into the whole thing. You would have to plan an event like that at least 6 months in advance in order to ensure that no one is booked that far ahead. Not impossible, but a lot of hard work and planning. |

| Don't mean to be pessimistic here but I can tell you one reason why this event would be pretty much impossible to organize: Dave Lewis.... If you know his booking practices you know none of the promoters in LA would be able to get some of the djs you listed (except Spundae)....Try talking to Peter and Guiv about this idea! |

| yeah dave lewis likes to market that way, but can u blame him. you will never see a night that features one of his hot hands empty. the way they market these DJs are key. From names on visuals, to tinquering with the sound during sets. the encores making ppl scream for your name, and of course the exclusiveness with certain promotions. |
