I bought it yesterday...

1. Is there any way to find out the correct name of a secret track?

2. I got 13 errors on one of the last tracks when ripping it, although the CD doesnt have a single scratch. Any body else get some errors one one of the last tracks?

oh man, I just listened to that track and cried....

nah not really, I just thought I'd say that for once like the rest of y'all do... "Fix You" Sounds pretty good though.

I've gotta tell you guys, I haven't actually listened to the album yet...i'm gonna wait 'til friday

...But I have to say, if this album just happens to be full of original songs i'm gonna be quite surprised

Don't get too excited, it may let you down! It's a good album, but all of Chris Martin's about 're-inventing the wheel' or whatever is just hype! And it all seems a little over-produced at times, sort of trying to be too complex and losing a lot of the emphasis of the track in the process.

But it's still a decent album!

It's a new EMI copy protection... thats why so little people will have downloaded a clean copy by now
It makes tiny pops on every track... when you listen with headphones you will hear it easily
Great CD tho... love it alot! especially Fix You and Swallowed In The Sea

I've been looking for a ripper that can bypass that stupid ing copy protection...

It's only fair since I buy CDs....

but the problem is that it's not the sort of thing thats talked about too often.

I actually reviewed it for the newspaper on campus...I know. I'm a reviewwhore.

hahahah, your review follows my prediction that it WASN'T going to be another album full of perfect original songs.

still, i'm sure absolutely everyone will agree with me when I say that "Two flawless albums is a great achievment."

Are you serious? So if you buy this CD you can't even rip it for your own use???? WTF!!! :whip: I just bought the album via iTunes so I'm not that concerned but I was saying to myself that I regretted buying it via iTunes since it was only $1.49 cheaper than Amazon... I would have rather paid the extra $1.49 and had the CD and been able to rip the songs at 320 KBPS via EAC.

Maybe I made the right choice?

PS. With the iTunes album download you get an interview video and Chris says the secret track isn't really a secret... I just assumed he was talking about track 13???
meneedit
Yeah, I thought it was strange... because its not listed on the back

wtf :conf:
