| Is there also a vinyl-release coming? I really love the track, but I'm just not that into digital downloading... |

thank you so much for the comments... good to see you're diggin the release. :)
Jasperovitsj - no, we won't be pressing any vinyl with our label. From past experience, we've found that vinyl just isn't good for the artists in the end. We are focusing on embracing this digital age 100% now.
May I ask, do you play CD's at all? Why are you not into digital downloading? |

Yeah, I do play CD's, but it's already expensive enough for me (being a student) to buy all the tracks I dig on vinyl, I can't really afford digital downloading as well, even though I know it's not that expensive :)
And I'm just a sucker for vinyl, but maybe it's time or me to embrace the digital era as well :D |

Yeah man, I totally understand the love for vinyl. Even back in the day when CD's first came out. I bought the Beatles 'White Album' on CD, and was so disappointed that the packaging wasn't nearly as cool as the vinyl record that my sister had. Times change though... and CD's became the norm.
The Same kind of thing is happening in the DJ world. I'm sure that when my daughter gets to be in her teenage years she'll be showing her friends "daddy's old record collection", and they'll all be laughing... thinking how silly it was that people used to use these heavy, vinyl discs, that ruin when scratched, crackle and pop within a few months, and melt into goo when left in a hot car for an hour... not to mention costing 10 times more.
I think sometimes it's hard to let go of what we're accustomed to, but those that are able to bend with the change, and ride the edge of progression are the ones that we call "pioneers".
cheers! |
