MEGA CLUB VISION AND PROMOTIONAL POWERHOUSE PURE FUTURE UNITE TO REINVENT CHICAGO’S GLOBAL CLUBBING EXPERIENCE
“PureVision Saturdays” Kicks Off July 9th with Paul Oakenfold and Fergie
(CHICAGO) June 6, 2005 – Vision, Chicago’s premier night club and #1 rated U.S. mega club* has joined forces with Chicago veteran and promotional powerhouse PureFuture (Formally PURE) to unite as PureVision on Saturday nights at Vision Mega Club, 632 North Dearborn in Chicago. With this partnership Vision replaces UK native and electronic dance brand Godskitchen, cementing PureFuture’s position as the leading night club and electronic dance promoter in the Midwest and positioning Vision to take the clubbing experience to the next level for consumers.
“Uniting with PureFuture was the next logical step for both entities,” said Tim Borden, Vice President of Marketing for Vision Mega Club. “Together we will create a total sensory experience for club goers that they simply cannot get anywhere else between New York and L.A.”
Vision is the only local venue with four unique club atmospheres, with the capability to showcase four different styles of music at once, along with incomparable sound, video, cryogenics, lighting and a full color laser show. PureFuture has been on the cutting edge in delivering domestic and international talent to Chicago since the mid 90’s. PureVision Saturdays will unite new up-and-coming artists with established global acts in an unprecedented offering. For headliner events with international talent, PureVision will offer a unique 2-tiered cover charge with a lower price to get into the Dome Room section of Vision to hear locals, and a premium for admission to the headliner room in the club. “We are committed to keeping cover charge reasonable for our regular crowd, who may or may not be interested in the headliner,” said Borden, “while at the same time offering access to top artists from around the globe.”
PureFuture partner Jay Prasad added, “This partnership marks another important milestone for PureFuture. As the company continues to expand into new markets and areas of entertainment, PureVision Saturdays will provide us with a great platform for delivering the very best in lifestyle experiences to Chicago.”
PureVision will launch its inaugural ball on Saturday, July 9, from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am, which also happens to be the ninth year anniversary of PureFuture in Chicago. The Spectrum Of Sound Tour will hit PureVision and feature world-renowned DJ Paul Oakenfold along with Fergie, Jay Prasad and Erik K.
