Working at a smelter company which produces Iron and Titanium. It's an awsome job and the pay probably tops all. The only downer is that the place is in Sorel.
ps. The job is very easy :) |

If you are stuck at minimum wage in quebec for all the summer, I just dont understand you. Its always better (for the money and the mind) to spend 800$ to go to Europe or 250$ to get in BC and work there. France minimum wage is 1.5-1.7 times higher than in Quebec. UK too. And thats minimum wage !!!
in canada, working in BC in the okanagan valley is one of the best summer job. healthy work. and pays a lot. meet a lot of people.
or working on pipelines in the north is also a good way to earn huge load of money.
but hey.. im talking about real man work here.. lazy asses should apply for a cleaning position in any hospital in quebec. Easy work, no boss, high salary, good bonuses.
security agent is also a good choice since theres a "comite paritaire" protecting their rights and highing their salaries year after year (same for any cleaning job in quebec). but you need to be wise to find a cool contract or you are going to find yourself standing up outside looking for nothing. good contracts sometimes allow you to study during work.
like to bike and relax ?? you can get paid more than 10$/h to ride in montreal parcs, check if no tree has been burned since your last visit and sleep a bit enjoying the sun. once again no boss, folloz your own schedule.
there's plenty of high paying jobs, some are cool. just open your eyes and never be afraid to apply to any jobs even when you think that you dont have the necessary skills. one of my friend never cooked and hes currently working in the kitchen of a big hotel in London. |

Other than the experience of travelling I don't see how its better to work in Europe over the summer.
Your salary might be twice higher, but your expenses too... unless your work at someplace where they provide you a room and food. |
