haha I still remember when Colombia beat Switzerland 2-1 in the 94 cup.The rest um yeah I dont wanna remember ;) :p

| Argentina won fairly enough with 3-1. Brazil is going to make it through to the World Cup 2006 in Germany. I think that they are going to be hard to beat, But look out for teams like Ukraine - They keep on winning all the time. Last time against Greece in Athens - 0-1 - Greece is in deep even though they have a lot easier schedule to play on. |

Ukraine is built around one guy, Shev. If Shev goes down or gets in a funk (though highly unlikely, as Shev has never been in WC and would want to prove himself there) Ukraine is in biiiiig trouble.
Surprised at the result. Would think Brazil put a better fight, considering the form Argentines were in. |

Not convinced the Swiss would go far. They certainly have up and coming talents like Vonlanthen and Chiumento up front and Vogel anchoring midfield. Defence is questionable as Senderos is not yet proven (lots of talent though) and Henchoz's best days are over, IMO.
I don't know who coaches the Swiss, but it better be better than whoever led them during Euro04 |
