IS there Any EDM in Panama City?!?

| I am stuck in Panama City Beach next weekend (I could think of worst places to be stuck) while everyone in Atlanta is going to Kazell and Jonathan Peters. BALLZ!!!! So I was wondering if anyone can fill me in on the summer night life in PCB since I have not been there since spring break in college 7 years ago!! I have a feeling I am going to be bored out of my mind! :( |

| there is one HUGE club there..ugh I forget the name, but it most likely plays hip hop, and top 40 or something. But dont mark my words cuz I dont know for sure. |

La Vista I think is the name. And it is massive. I heard it was the largest club in America. |

Ya it has been around for years and just got sold for 35.5 million so they could tear it down and make a condo there... If it is still open, I think it was all hip-hop.. I think I am screwed on finding any EDM down there... |

| I believe club LaVela has already been shut down. They're making the "Redneck Riveria" more "family oriented" :stongue: |

| If it's still opened, they play breaks downstairs and the sound system sucks major ass!! Hip hop top 40 upstairs and they used to play trance next door in that little dark room they call it, but that didn't last very long. Next door Spinnakers will play some techno and a little trance but you have to request it. Yea, pretty ghetto. I hated living there. |

| I used to live in Panama City back in 01-03. LaVela was the only worthy club in PC. maxdady25 is right....the system sucks and they claim it's the largest night club in the US but that's bull . They play top 40/rap in the main room upstairs and breaks/d&b in the underground (basement room that smells like ) They also have a rock room for live bands. If teenie boppin 18 year old spring breakers is your scene then you will have a blast here....if not then avoid this place like the plague. |

I think I am just going to have to take down some live set CDs and chill at the house from the sounds of it!!! There is only so much teenie boppin that I an take.
