I love all genres but party's I always give Priority on top of others are the trance.. ;) |
Yeah if I joined back in 2000, I dont know, started to listen to trance back in 1999, started clubbing in 2001 and became a TA in 2003, how things have changed here and there, and all of those guys I still do listen to from time to time, the good ole days |

true, there are way more hype threads for house events, but that doesnt mean we all love house more than trance, just that there are more house events going on. sure, not everyone likes that, but there are still a ton of us who like to hear about events from all sorts of different genres :thepirate i always thought a cool part of our subculture was understanding and respect towards all sorts of things, and keeping the close-mindedness away (not directing this towards you at all, just talking about the general ideas) :p

No directness taken, but my purpose for the thread was a discussion that we were having with DA just last night...................and it sooooo happens that Damon out of the Blue brings this up!!!
Believe me no one more than me AGREES with having a open mind especially when it comes to music, BUUUUUUUUUUUUT I also believe in staying true to what your passion is, no matter what if you choose to like other types of Genres...............you NEVER forget the one that truly got you into the scene, especially not cause your "friends" listen to something else or because you are trying to fit into a certain type of crowd!!!! |

Hah, I'm originally from Miami actually, but moved when I was 14... I still drive down to miami (11-12 hour drive) pretty often to catch a big name @ space |

| Arturo and LiquidX know how things go here, we remember how it was in 00 and it'll never been even close to the same. But you gotta stick with it and do your part to keep the music real and make sure the people listenin to it are doing it for the right reasons. |

I'm actually going to see him in Atlanta on the 15th with a bunch of friends, I'm sure he's gonna throw down a sick set there too, Ferry is one of my favorite DJs :toocool:
Last time I saw him was @ Space too during the WMC with PvD, Edgar V, and Sander K... :crazy: |

| ta is not the same as it was befoe... but it changes... and i for one.. dont mind the change.... only thing i dont like is the drama.. drama increase is t3h suck.. besides that it ok... when i joined i only like techno... and then grew into trance.. it never botherd me tat no techno threads weere ever made.. |
