Time to separate FL and GA (pg. 12)

i dont agree, i never wanted it seperate and i still dont.
but whatever happens happens. you guys figure it out, i aint getting involved. too much drama. i love fltas and i love atltas. i dunno. whatever.
edit: and if it does split, well then i'll just invade the atl forums from time to time to post drunken. :stongue: |

and then a whole forum dedicated to SETA as a whole, minus FLorida, of course. Atlanta wouldn't need to have its own name cuz we dont care about that kinda stuff. SETA in general would be splendid ;)
I'm kind of tired of hearing all the florida TA's wanting a separate forum, and how the mod of the SETA is from the ATL and not Florida. Florida is a great place with great people. Many are friends, and some even more. Love them to pieces, and so I totally agree with their desire for having their own identity, as I am pleased to have my own.
I think Georgia within itself has enough members, in addition to all of the members of SETA (SC,NC,TN,MI,...etc)
I also think Florida has enough events, members, and material to make a substancial forum on its own (as it was originally the Florida forum)
So, taking this into account, both groups would be satisfied. Finally I wouldn't have to deal with how different georgia is, and how better florida is. Or how the old skoolers hate how TA has changed. :haha:
I don't think there should be any bickering about this. They want to be separate, so let them. We have enough members, enough character and events to become great on our own. :cool:
Let's face it guys.......TA is changing, the scenes are changing. Atlanta's scene is in a BOOM, and some space has got to be made online for the demand of ATL events, and threads without annoying the living piss out of the FLTA's.
This can work :)

I say you put into a very well thought idea, after all the hating and exponential drama that has evolved from this. Some people judged you guys from what others said without even knowing you guys but, to save drama.. if it works it works. I dont have an issue with none of you.. I dont know what Swamper would say, cause he's got the final word.. and lets see what he says about the issue if most agree. IF it happens, I would still pay a visit and give you guys a high five pissy hands... ;).
If it happens, the drama will continue with who would be the moderator of FL TA section.. and that Im scared off lol. |

FL would have their own forum, and so would SETA...
My post wasn't saying how much I hate the drama and whatever- cuz im sure we'll have it in our own forums if they were to be divided.
My post was mainly to state how great the ATL and SETA member growth has boomed, along with our scene. |

i would be cool with 2 mods... instead of the seperation.
that way mistakes wont happen like what happened on Tuesday.
Scott could easily mod his people and we can get someone to mod the Fl... and if they have a problem with what one person said they can discuss actions to be taken.. instead of jumping to one SILLY and WRONG action.

Correction. both the mods to mod everyone but when it comes to making the decision they both should discuss it if they find something wrong. especially with someone they do not know ;\ |

as you'll have seen im looking into the possibilities of dealing with the problem we have.
I was quoting earlier on the guidlines for a new moderator, due to this situation i dont think those guidelines will be used. i have an alternate solution that i will suggest to swamper should it be needed if we do do a forum split.
keeping the forum as one and having another mod, but from miami is not a good idea, and wouldnt work. it wouldnt change how the members felt about the opposing city, and it would put the mods in a difficult position, and would eventually be dragged into sides, each mod defending their section of the forum, with members calling on their mod to deal with injustices from the other cities members. ugh. |
