Where to buy music?

Sorry for the newbie question, but I recently got into (addicted to?) trance and until now, music I had listened to was always available at the local record stores. Of course, with trance, things are a little different now. I've been browsing sites like www.satelliterecords.com and www.dancerecords.com listening to a whole bunch of really good stuff but there is very little on CDs compared to vinyl. I don't really have the money/space/care for a vinyl collection so is there much better sites with a lot of the same music on CDs or for direct download? Or is ordering vinyl pretty much the only way to purchase a lot of this music?
Thanks
Blue.
check sites like beatport and audiojelly for mp3 downloads, then just make your own cds :D

and/or, as you have just started listening, amazon.com has many good trance cds from most major artists.

tbh most cd's suck ass. it's a lot better to just listen to samples or illegaly download the cd, listen to it and then download the tracks you like legaly.

hey, well it was a couple of Oakenfold cds from amazon.com that started me off, so starting off I think its better, I know for me the sheer volume of tracks was just overwealming.

true, as long as we're talking older cds. because most cds that have come out in the last while havn't been worth the money. in search of coasters 3.

Thanks, after searching, Amazon has more than I thought it would, but there's still a lot I've sampled that it doesn't have. Is audiogalaxy good? I haven't downloaded the program yet.

Yeah, LOL, I remember the golden days of AudioGalaxy when it was DA BEST program for downloading music at the time (2002). When they shut it down in 2003, I turned to Direct Connect, SOulseek and other sources whose names I refuse to name to any of you people ;)

As for actually buying CDs - I do buy a lot of music too. I have used pretty much every imaginable way of doing that: Amazon, Ebay, local record/music stores, dollar stores, thrift places, friends/acquantances, EVEN Wal-Mart. I look everywhere for EDM CDs to expand my collection. Check out my Discogs archive (www.discogs.com/user/Magnetonium) for my current CD collection if you feel curious (does not include 150 or so ambient/dance CDs that Discogs doesnt have - I'll add em eventually)

there are a few stores that sell cheap cds with free shipping.
i've bought lots from www.cd-wow.com. they have quite a few edm cds there. i've bought at least 10 albums from there, and all have been cheaper than usual prices.

there are two uk-based stores which i know of, which also have free shipping,.. www.play.com and www.blahdvd.com.

happy shopping!
